I agree with everyone else who is unhappy about the restrictions on fetish content. Like crayoncolors said, anything on Earth can be a fetish. The guidelines can be easily weaponized and used to report anything. One of my charactes has a prominent chest size and occasionally wears a harness that accentuates that. So do I have to filter them in case anyone thinks that my drawings of them have sexual connotations? What if it has sexual connotations for me, but not for others? These are rhetorical question by the way, because the fact that I even have to ask myself this is proof that the guidelines on fetish content are too vague.
I was just wondering if I would have to filter drawings of characters in maid outfits as well. I was considering asking a moderator. But like favorite_lie said, one moderator might think it's fetish and another might think it's not. Imagine getting flooded by messages about this stuff. You are making work harder for yourselves.

Also, I agree with Robbie , it genuinely feels unfair and simply wrong to have such restrictions, yet allowing a literal tearing apart of a character, limb by limb, even. It simply feels weird. How can equipment gear be restricted, when you can have characters whose skins are melting, and you can see highly accurate anatomy behind it? 

don't get me wrong, i appreciate the dedication to make a safe space for all the different people, from minors to ones who are simply not comfortable with such things, but this is going a little bit too far. 

meanwhile the new guidelines will no longer allow people to slip through the rules and pass restricted content, they also open a window for abuse. Or, if you're going on a good route with this, it will simply make the moderation harder. good luck with deciding what's fetish or not and dealing with mods having different views on this topic. which is not bad when it's your personal opinion by the way, it becomes a problem when you have thousands of different people. for some, a collar can be a cute character detail, for some it can be a fetish, and for some it can vary depending on the context. 

you have TOO MANY pieces of art to moderate to allow yourself to make it so vague, you simply cannot make it work with how much it can vary, not only from context, but from personal opinion as well.

i can't express in words or numbers how much problems it can cause, from false/abuse reports, to people flooding the moderation team with questions like "is this considered a fetish?", or huge arguments that circle around if a paw glove or an attached tail is a fetish or not. 

of course i did mispredict last years theme (even saying to my friends "im like 99% sure its not vampires vs werewolves") so take that with a grain of salt lol

yall ready for my theme prediction??? i think its knights vs dragons bc look at the lineart on the top left corner, it looks like a really old fairytale book, especially with the color palette. maybe the orange lady is the "damsel" the knight is saving from the dragon? maybe she IS the dragon (a shapeshifter type deal)???
but like the color palette in the background along with the lineart looking like an open book makes me REALLY think its knights vs dragons >:3

I'm definitely unhappy with the new policies regarding fetish content. For example, "extreme focus on body parts," an extremely tame kink, being disallowed, as well as other tame kinks, yet allowing for extreme gore on-site is unfair. For example, who's to say that someone won't draw hard vore of someone else's character utilizing the extreme gore filters + the "character-shaped meat" policies and disguise it as being non-sexual? How are you to tell that it is, in fact, sexual, then? It'd be very preferable if this policy were reversed as it's definitely unfair that a character being brutally dismembered, in pain, and/or even dead is allowed to be uploaded, provided it's "non-sexual," yet mawshots are disallowed since someone might find them erotic.

UPDATE: Agree with crayoncolors. Anything in the entire world can be a fetish. Even the Earth, the sun, dirt, grass... anything can be a fetish. Completely blocking out all fetish art is unfair, even more so, since anything can simply be blocked out.

the new updates to the suggestive content filtering leaves a bad taste in my mouth. there's nothing suggestive on my profile (on purpose, at least), but like literally anything can be considered a fetish to some people so it concerns me that all content related to fetishes is completely banned. what about collars? paws? maws? also, the note about body types is very vague and i don't like that it could apply to people just existing that are plus sized. if you mean hyper or inflation just say it because its not clear enough. just in all a lot of these filtering rules are not clear enough in places are far too broad in others. the mod team needs to come to a consensus on more specific guidelines before the fight starts because its clear that many are confused and i have no idea what work i need to do to my profile to comply with the new guidelines.

My best guess for the theme is Flora vs Fauna since there's a tulip (I assume) in the top left corner, a fence seemingly in the background (could belong to a garden) and a tree (I think) on the right side. As always, I'm super HYPED for this year.
